PRODUCT INFO
All aromatic ingredients are carefully sourced to ensure we offer a good quality product. All fragrance oils used in our product lines are phthalate free and IFRA certified percentage-based utilization. Wood Wicks are all natural and Cotton Wicks are the ECO cotton wicks that are lead and zinc free.
All candles are handmade with premium soy and beeswax blend for a cleaner burn. The candle jars may build up black soot from the wood wicks, which is a natural affect. You can wipe away the residue with a paper towel to allow the beautiful light to shine through once again.
Sculpture Candles are made with a premium soy and beeswax blend. The sculptured candle embeds are made with the same wax blend of the candles to create an elegant appeal to each candle bringing the to life.
The Science of Wood Wick Crackling ...
Wood wicks contain thousands of tiny cells just like plant matter and gas molecules are naturally contained inside the walls of those cells. When you raise the temperature of the cell walls, the gas expands, and mini eruptions occur as the cell walls rupture and the gas escapes. This is the crackling or popping sounds we hear from a lit wood wick.
The amount of crackle we hear depends on the moisture present in the wax or fragrance of the candle.
CANDLE CARE
Trim the wick 1/4" before each lighting. Keep candle free from all foreign materials like matches and trimmings. Only burn candle on level surfaces. Do not burn candle for more than four hours at a time. Stop use when only 1/4" of wax remains.
Wood Wick Trimming: I have found using regular nail clippers works well for cutting the cross wicks as well as flat wood wicks.
