WOOD X WICKSCut all four sides of the wick with flat style trimmers before each burn to avoid excess smoke and flare. For first candle lighting, please ensure the candle burns until the wax has a melted pool (when the surface of the candle is completely melted). This usually takes 1-2 hours, sometimes more. This will help prevent "tunneling" and helps the candle last a little longer. Never burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Keep wax pool free of trimmings, matches, and other debris at all times.
